JA-2/JA-100 Standard Version - Class A Pre/Power Amplifier

To make the flagship Class A pre and power amplifier combo JA-2/JA-100 more affordable to audiophiles and music lovers, JungSon released this standard version of JA-2/JA-100 in 2005. The standard version costs only half of the flagship (or luxury) model, but its function and performance are very similar to the luxury model.

Packed in a silver aluminium alloy chassis, the JA-2 standard version has the same external design of the luxury model. Moreover, we added valve outputs to the standard version for fans who prefer valve pre amps. Now, you can choose pre amp output either in valve mode or solid state mode via balanced (XLR) or non-balanced (RCA) terminals. Input selections have also increased to five. Standard JA-2 has one balanced XLR and four RCA inputs terminals.

Same as the luxury model, the JA-100 standard version power amplifier uses a fully balanced and minimal negative feedback circuit. Equipped with a mighty 680W JungSon unique square transformer, 480K µF high-end graded capacitors and eight pairs of Sanken chips, the standard JA-100 continuously supplies massive 100-watts (Class A rated at 8 ?) average power to each channel. The standard JA-100 has a balanced (XLR) and a RCA input to match the JA-2. The four speaker terminals in each monobloc are 24k gold plated and provide easy connectivity for bi-wired loud speakers.

“If the sound-control performance of JA-2/JA-100 luxury version is 10 marks, then the performance of the standard version should be marked above 9”. - said by the reviewer (Chinese Hi-Fi magazince, 2005). Thus, the JA-2/JA100 standard version should be the best choice, if your bank savings was not enough for the luxury version.
